julie, i've worked w air compressors for the last 32 years and the stuff we use in our shop is called kroil; it comes in a spray can called aero kroil and this stuff works. i had a lugged steel bianchi from the 70's w a rusted in alloy seat post and nothing worked on it until one of my air compressor mechanics suggested kroil; he used the liquid kroil and the next day it came free very easy. its made by kano labs and their number is 800-311-3374. the dude abides... burl simon los angeles california
