According to the CR archives (link below), Canopus frames were made in Colombia and imported about 15-20 years ago to the USA. List members have compared them to Windsor Pros (Mexico) and other acceptably-built but not top-drawer frames of the time. (I'll bet they were designed to climb and descend well, though... :-)
