Just a quick note to thank those of you who responded to my initial request for old Panasonic bike catalogs or photos. I managed to make a connection with the old National Sales Manager for Panasonic Bicycles here in the USA and he helped out by sending me his archive of 1979-1985 catalogs. There is a brief interview with the man as well... look under the retro media men u for "Meet Norman Panasonic".
The web site now has a complete archive of catalogs from the following year s: 1977, 1979, 1980-1985, 1989, 1991, 1993.
If anyone can help fill-in-the-blanks and provide scans or loan your catalo g for scanning it would be much appreciated. I'd really love to find the U .S. catalogs for 1986, 1987 and 1988 so we could complete the decade. It also bugs me that I happen to own an '86 and '88 model yet don't have the catalogs for them. OCD strikes again... Drop me a line if you can help.
