I always liked Mafacs, they were original equipment on my '74 Follis. All the brakes I've used since have pailed by comparison.
My latest project was to build and braze Mafac center-pull brake studs on a bike. Kurt Sperry's ebay Mafac Constructeur photos confirmed that the studs I had were copies of the originals, so I copied the copies, and brazed them to the fork and seat stays of my wife's town bike.

I would have preffered to buy these studs, but coudn't find any.
So I made a bunch ... and will sell the spares for $25 per set of 4. These match Mafac Racer brakes.
