I have been advised by some friendly list members that I may be in violation of list rules by not mentioning the asking price of the Masi frame. It is not my intention to 'fish', I just thought I'd leave that out because I'm really only acting as go-between.
Anyway, the asking price is 1500 euros.

Dear listers and Masi-philes (Masisti?),
I wandered into a befriended bikeshop this afternoon, for a chat, and the owner Joop (a long time Masi dealer and friend of Alberto), knowing my love for old quality steel, pulled a Masi 3V Wing frame from a hook, and wiped some dust off it. This is a beautiful made frame, with Excell tubing shaped in various ways, aerodynamic more or less, so thats why it has the name 'Wing' I suppose. Plus it has external lugs, real nice. Size is 58 x 58, or 60 c-t and 58 c-c. It is between 5 and 10 years old, but NOS, never had components on it. Masi red of course, with chrome fork crown.
If anyone is interested, please contact me off list, the price mentioned by Joop is quite steep in my eyes, but possibly quite reasonable for a Masisti and possibly negotiable.
I have no interest in the sale of the frame.
