Here is a photo of a NEW (2009 model) Fuji - List price set at $1,350 US. Nothing fancy about the components. But it has a CrMo LUGGED steel frameset... Set up with an 8-speed hub with down tube shifters, threaded headset and conventional stem.

Graphics with bands on the down tube and seat tube look like an early 1970s

FUJI "Finest".

Perhaps aimed at middle aged riders who have been away from cycling for man y years. Or even for younger riders attracted to the vintage look.

Will this be a new trend? Think of how many companies now manufacture single-speed road bikes inspire d by the "Fixie" craze.

The bike looks like something I would gladly recommend to someone re-entering cycling.

May even inspire renewed interest in the ORIGINAL bikes - the ones which WE

own.
