Yes, for some these Tektro-made levers are very comfortable. But, the build quality is not what Shimano put into its ordinary 105 and 600 brake levers, or the best and last from DiaCompe, the Grand Compe levers. I'm referring to the feeling of fit and absense of slop in the lever, which may have nothing to do with function.
Of course,Tektro manufactures to its client's specification, including Nashbar's.
(I think Shimano and Dia-Compe levers I've commended were introduced or last produced in 1980-84, the last year of Shimano 600.)
