Hi all, and happy ALMOST labor day weekend !!
With the recent posts, and my own good fortune - I'd love to find some Fuji dealer catalogs, scan them, and make them available. I've not found many resources on the web, especially for the 80's bikes. I'd like to post the entire year's line of road bikes. I'll gladly buy them, or just borrow them and send them back to you after I've scanned them.
FujiThoughts:
- Thanks for posting the picture of the 09 Connoisseur. I am sure they'll have one in their booth at InterBike, and look forward to seeing it in person. Straight forks aside, it has a nice look. Whats with that saddle? hmmm . Fuji leather ? I noticed in a recent bicycle magazine the two models of steel lugged frames Tommasini still produces - they may have one of those on display as well (one model was oversized steel tubing, other the standard sizing).
- Fuji Club. I lucked out as the buyer of a recent offering on the
list, and would love some thoughts as to the year of the bike. I'm
thinking it was late 80's (sorry Dale)... but not sure. It does have
the later generation Suntour Cyclone groupo on it (very nice black
brakeset) - and the SN is: KC691601. Its virtually unused, and I hope
to take it out for a spin tomorrow! I copied the original pics up to
this link:

- Fuji Tourer IV. I did have a very successful 4 day ride from
Portland to Klamath Falls. I can say I love the way that bike rides.
(Dale..this one IS an 84 - however I'll not blather on about any touring
related items !!). Half step gearing worked out well, and this bike was
a real dream to ride. I like it much more than my (smaller) Miyata
1000. I just noticed I didnt post the Serial number for that one - I'll
dig it out and list it. Links to the stories below:

Take care, and hope to say hi to a few of you at Interbike in Las Vegas
