Subject: [CR]ANOTHER LOT OF VINTAGE PARTS FOR SALE

It is time once again to offer up a few items in advance of posting same for sale on eBay (...you are encouraged to check my feedback in that other forum under the seller id name "57103"). Interested parties should please correspond directly and "OFF LIST" through my public email address of rsb000(AT)hotmail.com (...where that trio of numerals would be zeros and NOT the letter "O"). All inquiries will be handled on a first come, first served basis. Detailed pictures and descriptions of the various "FOR SALE" items have been posted to WoolJersey (...see link below) and I strongly encourage everyone to review same in order to make a thoroughly informed purchasing decision. You are also invited to review any of those other "FOR SALE" items not itemized herein but which do appear on WoolJersey. If you have any question as to whether an item is still available for sale, PLEASE CHECK FIRST USING THE FOLLOWING WOOL JERSEY LINK (http://www.wooljersey.com/gallery/broderir/For-Sale) as I will be marking items "SALE PENDING" when someone agrees to their purchase and then mark them as "SOLD" upon actual receipt of payment.

PLEASE NOTE: It is entirely possibly that I may be called out of town at the beginning of next week and my absence could extend for two to three weeks thereafter (...maybe yes, maybe no - but I will not know either way until Saturday). Soooo, those who may be interested in purchasing item(s) and remitting payment of some form via snail mail or who may choose to use an electronic format but are not timely in having remittance made by noon Central time on Saturday the 13th of September will quite possibly have to await my return before I will be able to post their merchandise. I apologize in advance if this circumstance proves inconvenient, however, it is what it is and I wanted to be as forthcoming as possible in this regard by providing "fair warning".

All prices quoted herein do not include shipping and/or insurance which will be done at cost. I would be happy to aggregate shipping expenses on multiple items destined for the same physical mailing address where practicable. PayPal is preferred, but I also accept payment by BidPay, cashier's check, money order, or well concealed cash (...mailed at your own risk). Your satisfaction is guaranteed to the extent that you are welcome to return all or part of any purchase for a full refund of monies not to include shipping and/or insurance provided that said merchandise is returned to me in a reasonably timely fashion and that it is in substantially the same condition as when I first sent it out to you (...please let me know in advance of your intentions should this prove to be the case).

HEADSET / STEM:

OFMEGA Super Competizione - threaded headset - 25.4 mm (24 TPI) Italian thread - aluminum alloy construction - Silver anodized finish - 3/16" ball bearings with metal retainers - alloy top nut - alloy cups with pressed steel race inserts - model Super Competizione ... [NOS with minor shop wear - while it has never once been installed or used, I am embarrassed to say that this headset has spent several years knocking about in my stock of spares and shows evidence of this tragic fate - mind you, any issues to be found here are both minor as well as purely cosmetic and I am inclined to believe that they can be more than adequately addressed by someone so inclined - that said, I would suggest mounting this very reasonably priced Campy Super Record clone into a nice "rider" and putting it to use as intended] - $30.00 USD plus S&H at cost

Cinelli model 1R stem - aluminum alloy with anodized clear coat - 22.2 mm quill - 26.0 mm size clamp - 110 mm length - single bolt hidden non-quick release on its underside - pre 1979 Cino Cinelli era "CINELLI MILANO" oval top logo and "MADE IN ITALY - CINELLI - BREV 999401" front logo - model 1R .. [Used condition with definite signs of surface scratching along the length of the quill as well as several more blemishes located toward the head of the stem at its topside - all of the "hidden wedge" piece parts are intact and without damage, and as such, this stem functions perfectly (...and without any of the creaking occasionally associated with this elegant model) - the hex heads of both the stem and clamp bolts have been chamfered to some extent, but they are still serviceable and functional - depending upon how high or low you intend to mount this stem, this may end up looking fairly presentable even in it its current state once it has been fitted to a bicycle - on the other hand, those who seek perfection will have to remove the existing coat of clear anodizing, sand and polish out any of the scratches and imperfections, buff everything to high luster, and optionally have this stem re-anodized in order to make it worthy of a true "show bike"] - $40.00 USD plus S&H at cost

Sakae Ringyo (SR) Custom - aluminum alloy - 22.2 mm quill - 26.0 mm size clamp - 100 mm length - single bolt non-quick release ... [Used - no ugly scratches or nicks, but this component is in desperate need of a good polishing - Allen fitting on the chrome plated stem bolt shows evidence of chamfering at the hands of a ham fisted bike wrench] - $5.00

SHIFT LEVERS:

Modolo Orion - twin control levers - down tube mount for braze-on applications - aerodynamic / ergonomic design - ultra lightweight reinforced glass resin composite lever blades - Nickel-Cobalt plated hardware - model Orion MO175 ... [Exceptionally nice used state - near perfect condition without any visible signs of wear (...even the logos are in perfect condition) - these debuted in September of 1982 - identical in form to the Modolo Kronos levers which were produced in carbon fiber rather than fiberglass as seen here] - $15.00 USD plus S&H at cost

FRONT DERAILLEUR:

Campagnolo Record - 28.6 mm clamp-on - alloy body and hinged clamp with steel cage - post 1967 without cable stop - post 1972 with enlarged pivot post housings - post 1972 with circlip on upper pivot - pre 1978 non C.P.S.C. "flat" style outer cage plate - model 1052/1 ... [Used - this is the very same lightly used unit that I offered for sale to the CR List almost a year ago having a faint hairline crack along the top inside connector between the inner and outer cage plates - I did not discover said crack until I had already begun to strip, clean, re-grease, and otherwise rebuild this component in preparation for its use on a bike project of my own - at this point, I have used a judicious amount of JB Weld (...applied from the inside of the cage - and I defy anyone to notice its application in the pictures posted to WoolJersey) to remedy any weakness such that this derailleur should now be able to function properly for an untold number of miles - I am also offering an unconditional guarantee for a period of one year from purchase wherein I will agree to refund all monies exchanged, including shipping, upon return of the derailleur itself should it break, malfunction, or otherwise fail to properly perform] - $20.00 plus S&H at cost

Campagnolo Record front derailleur body and lower pivot arm - 28.6 mm clamp-on alloy body with hinged clamp - post 1967 without cable stop - post 1972 with enlarged pivot post housings - post 1972 for use with circlip on upper pivot - model 773 (body) / 782 lower pivot arm ... [Used - these parts are actually suitable for use on either Record or Super Record front derailleurs dating from 1973 through 1977 or post 1977 Gran Sport models - excellent condition without any gouges, scratches, or unsightly imperfections - that said, there is a very light marking near where the clamp bolt would be inserted, but this slight blemish will be completely obscured once this piece is assembled into a complete front derailleur and properly mounted onto a bike for use] - $10.00 for both pieces plus S&H at cost

Campagnolo Super Record - 28.6 mm clamp-on - alloy body and hinged clamp with chrome plated steel cage - post 1972 with enlarged pivot post housings - post 1972 with circlip on upper pivot - post 1977 C.P.S.C. compliant "raised lip" style outer cage plate - post 1978 with series of three open windows on the outer facing of the cage plate - post 1981 with Black anodized aluminum alloy upper and lower pivot arms - model 1052/SR or 0104010 ... [Used - excellent condition with minor evidence of chain rub inside the cage consistent with any front derailleur which has actually been used, and a pair of faint marks along the outside of the chrome plated cage facing toward its rear extremity - flawlessly functional, and from a distance of two to three feet this derailleur could likely pass for new with respect to cosmetic appearance (...your eyesight and mileage may vary)] - $35.00 plus S&H at cost

Campagnolo Triomphe - 28.6 mm clamp-on - alloy body and hinged clamp with chrome plated steel cage - post late 1983 with C.P.S.C. compliant "raised lip" style outer cage plate - model 0104026 ... [Used - a low mileage used front derailleur in very good condition with light evidence of chain rub inside the cage and minor oxidization on selected piece parts (...although not what I would call unsightly, almost all of this can likely be removed in the process of a thorough cleaning) - eminently functional and it actually looks even nicer in person that these pictures would suggest] - $15.00 plus S&H at cost

Huret Jubilee - 28.6 mm clamp-on - light alloy construction with chrome plated steel cage having a series of five open windows on its outer facing - pre 1978 model year non C.P.S.C. compliant open leading edge style cage - double or triple chain wheel capacity - model 500 ... [Used - very good condition but with decided evidence of chain rub and wear to the inner cage plate - in any event, this unit is still perfectly functional and otherwise in excellent cosmetic state (...even the chrome plating, something for which French components are often reviled, is remarkably without blemish - the aforementioned chain rub obviously excepted) - please note that this particular example is sized for use on a standard Imperial sized seat tube and NOT your typically undersized French metric variety (...which means that its clamp and body interface is not likely to self destruct in short order - a too common malady when one uses the wrong clamp size on the wrong tubeset)] - $30.00 plus S&H at cost

REAR DERAILLEUR:

Sachs Huret Super Success Titanium - titanium upper and lower brackets marked with "T" inside a circle - forged light alloy shift arm - pivoting cable barrel mount - adjustable stop plate and demountable lower pivot bracket to accommodate either a 24 or 28 tooth maximum freewheel cog - 12 to 24 or 13 to 28 tooth freewheel capacity (adjustable) / 36 to 53 tooth front chain wheel capacity - rear body plate date code marked "MADE IN FRANCE 5082" for the fiftieth week of 1982 - stamped alloy pulley cage plates - model 2460 ... [Used - a very nice low mileage unit which performs flawlessly and is in very good cosmetic condition with only minor evidence of chain rub inside the pulley cage plates and a couple of superficial marks on the front plate which can easily be touched up with a dab of silver paint and a fine tipped brush - one of the fastest shifting, lightest (...a scant 170 grams), and yet durable rear derailleurs available from this era (...which is to say,1975 through 1984) - please note that this particular rear derailleur comes complete with an adaptor plate suitable for accommodating a Campagnolo style 10 mm x 26 TPI threaded derailleur hanger] - $45.00 plus S&H at cost

Huret - lower pulley wheel - "toothless" style - Black Delrin - ball bearings - adjustable races - model 2140 ... [NOS - original equipment as found on Huret Jubilee, Challenger II, Success, Super Success, Doupar, and Duopar Eco rear derailleurs] - $10.00 USD plus S&H at cost

Campagnolo Nuovo / Super Record - rear derailleur pulley cage plates - aluminum alloy - model 814/A outer / 815/A inner ... [Used - these parts are suitable for use with all Nuovo Record or pre 1978 Super Record rear derailleurs - despite what one might think after viewing the brutally unforgiving pictures provided herein, these are actually in very good condition without any deep gouges or unsightly chain rub - however, there are several light markings, primarily to the anodized clear coat, begot of honest use - replace those nasty chewed-up cage plates of your own . OR

remove the remaining anodizing, polish these babies up, and maybe even use them to practice your "drillium" skills] - $15.00 for both pieces plus S&H at cost

FREEWHEEL:

Maeda / SunTour New Winner - 13/18 (13-14-15-16-17-18) narrow 6 speed for use with 120/122 mm OLD rear hub spacing - 2 notch removal interface - 1.370" x 24 TPI English thread - 4x2 stepped body - four notch slip fit cogs with spacers / individually threaded cogs - model NWN 6S-S ... [Very good used condition - only minor wear to the individual teeth - thoroughly disassembled and serviced - the cogs themselves have been reassembled "dry" and "loose" for storage (...i.e. without benefit of anti-seize compound which I would HIGHLY recommend for those four threaded cogs prior to actual use) - your basic straight block vintage freewheel] - $15.00 USD plus S&H at cost

Maeda / SunTour New Winner - 13/21 (13-14-15-16-18-21) narrow 6 speed for use with 120/122 mm OLD rear hub spacing - 2 notch removal interface - 1.370" x 24 TPI English thread - 4x2 stepped body - four notch slip fit cogs with spacers / individually threaded cogs - model NWN 6S-S ... [Excellent used condition - nominal wear to the individual teeth - thoroughly disassembled and serviced - the cogs themselves have been reassembled "dry" and "loose" for storage (...i.e. without benefit of anti-seize compound which I would HIGHLY recommend for those four threaded cogs prior to actual use) - a great range of very usable gears in a vintage freewheel] - $15.00 USD plus S&H at cost

Sachs / Maillard 700 Compact - 12/21 (12-13-14-15-17-19-21) narrow 7 speed for use with 126 mm or 132 mm OLD rear hub spacing - 27 mm splined removal interface (uses Campagnolo 9/10s lockring removal tool like a Park FR-1) - 1.370" x 24 TPI English thread - 3x2x2 stepped body - Advance Rider Index System (ARIS) compatible - Rapid Grip and Shift (RGS) individual cog tooth profiles - hardened steel / nickel plated - three notch slip fit cogs / threaded locking cog / duplex threaded cog pair - model 700 Compact ... [Used - extremely low mileage and in excellent condition - negligible wear to the individual teeth - thoroughly disassembled and serviced - the cogs themselves have been reassembled "dry" and "loose" for storage (...i.e. without benefit of anti-seize compound which I would HIGHLY recommend for those three smallest threaded cogs prior to actual use) - a great vintage freewheel with individual tooth profiles that allow it to arguably engage a chain better than any of its contemporaries (...you never need envy indexed shifting with this freewheel, even in a friction mode - but yes, it is also compatible with ARIS and other indexed systems)] - $20.00 USD plus S&H at cost

CRANKSET:

Sugino Mighty Competition - vintage Campagnolo compatible 144 mm BCD - 42/52 alloy chain rings / inner reinforcement webs / 52 tooth ring with chain "roll off" pin - 171 mm anodized forged alloy arms / 9/16" x 20 TPI pedal threads / 22 mm x 1 mm cap threads - model MmW : Sugino chrome plated dust caps ... [Used - a properly matched vintage 1970's Sugino crankset in fair to good condition - both arms have evidence of toe trap rub at their outer extremities as well as other minor imperfections begot of honest use including a straight line scratch along the back of the drive side arm from once running afoul of a front derailleur - there are also the typical "halo" markings to be found surrounding the pedal holes where mounting was done without benefit of protective washers - there are absolutely no cracks or functional compromises to be found, the cap and pedal threadings themselves are in excellent condition, and the square taper splines are unmarred - as for the chain rings, both show evidence of moderate use including chain "pick up" markings along the backside of the large ring, but there is no disfiguring or hooking of their teeth and precious few cosmetic blemishes - this entire ensemble has been disassembled, inspected, cleaned, polished, and then reassembled only "finger tight" - I would be happy to apply a dab of anti-seize compound to all of the chain ring bolt threads and torque everything down properly prior to shipment upon request] - $45.00 plus S&H at cost

Campagnolo Nuovo Record chain ring - 144 mm BCD - 42 tooth alloy inner ring with inner reinforcement web - marked "<C>" - model 753/42 ... [A VERY low mileage used chain ring that might have a couple of hundred miles on it at most - virtually no wear to the teeth whatsoever and certainly no signs of profiling on the ramps - without cosmetic blemishes or any evidence of corrosion - this is likely to be as good a chain ring as you will ever find assuming that said ring has actually been ridden] - $45.00 plus S&H at cost

Stronglight - 122 mm BCD - 51 tooth alloy chain ring - post 1973 "flat-top" tooth profile - not threaded for chain "roll off" pin - model 200-51 / 38 tooth alloy chain ring - post 1973 "flat-top" tooth profile - model 200-38 .. [Brand new and unused in their original packaging sleeves - sold only as a matched pair - suitable for use with cranksets having a 122 mm Bolt Circle Diameter (BCD) such as Stronglight 49 (...inner ring only), 93, 104, and 105 models or various late series production 1980's Nervar cranks - these are actually more modern Stronglight 200 chain rings, but as I said, they are perfectly compatible with a host of earlier vintage offerings - of particular note, that 38 tooth inner chain ring is more than a little difficult to find in any of its earlier configurations - additionally, I should like to point out that a 51 / 38 chain ring combination (...or even a 50 / 38, which is what I generally prefer) happens to effectively render an "old school" version of what would now be known as a compact crank setup when paired with many popular vintage freewheel cog selections readily available (...in this instance, yielding a more than respectable top gear of 105.92 inches in consideration of a 13 tooth small cog and a very credible 48.86 gear inches on the low end assuming a mere 21 tooth large cog)] - $40.00 plus S&H at cost for the pair

BOTTOM BRACKET:

O.M.A.S. Acciaio - traditional non-cartridge adjustable type bottom bracket for 70 mm shell - steel spindle - square taper - 114 mm with 3 mm drive side asymmetrical offset - annular sealed bearings - 36 mm x 24 TPI Italian thread aluminum alloy cups (non-drive side - right threading / drive side - also right threading) - "accordion" style plastic dust sleeve - 15 mm steel crank bolts / washers - model 132 "Big Sliding" Strada (70-S-120) : Campagnolo lock rings (one pair) - chrome plated steel - model 747 ... [NOS / NIB - similar to a Phil Wood unit in that the cups on both sides are adjustable meaning that one can fine tune their chain line - spindle sizing apropos a pre 1977/1978 non C.P.S.C. compliant Campy crankset or any number of clones thereof - PLEASE NOTE that I have stolen the original O.M.A.S. aluminum alloy lock rings that would normally come with this bottom bracket assembly and have replaced them instead with an NOS pair of Campagnolo chrome plated steel counterparts] - $45.00 plus S&H at cost ... OR ... $30.00 plus S&H at cost if purchased WITHOUT the two replacement Campy chrome plated lock rings

Campagnolo Nuovo Record bottom bracket for spindle for 68 mm shell - stainless steel rifled spindle - square taper - non C.P.S.C. pre 1978 112 mm with 5 mm drive side asymmetrical offset - model 744/A (68-SS-120) ... [NOS - suitable for use with either a English, French, or Swiss threaded bottom bracket assembly and corresponding 68 mm shell] - $15.00 plus S&H at cost

TOE CLIPS & SUNDRIES:

Christophe - toe clip mounting plates (with hardware) - includes spare mounting plates ... [NOS - slight shop soiling which should wipe right off with a bit of solvent - 3 pair available] - $1.50 per pair plus S&H at cost

Avocet - toe clips - size Large (65 mm long) - chrome plated steel - made in Italy ... [NOS - slight shop wear to the chrome plating at the loop where the toe straps pass through (...and I am being rather picky here) - otherwise, a nice set of unused, Italian made, toe clips dating from the early 1980's] - $3.50 plus S&H at cost

Campagnolo Superleggero - toe clips - size Large (65 mm long) - light aluminum alloy - integrated "kick plates" - post 1984 style Campagnolo "shield" logo - model 0990/6 ... [NOS - absolutely perfect condition in original packaging] - $25.00 plus S&H at cost

Hi-E ENGINEERING HUBSETS & RIMS ENSEMBLE:

Hi-E Engineering - quick release hubset - micro flange (front) / combination high-low flange (rear) - annular sealed bearings - 36h (18R/18L) front hub (100 mm spacing) / 36h (18R/18L) rear hub (121 mm spacing) - 1.370" x 24 TPI English freewheel thread - models 202 (front) / 213 (rear) : Hi-E Engineering - quick release mechanisms - aluminum alloy end caps with knurled adjusters - stainless steel skewer rods with rolled threads - models 223 (front / rear combo) ... [A matched set of circa 1973 through 1976 early hubs having those gorgeous non-anodized polished aluminum barrels - used but in extremely nice condition with minimal finish imperfections and only slight pulling at the holes on the large flange of the rear hub (...not to be seen once these are built up into a new wheelset) - brand new super smooth annular sealed bearings with absolutely zero mileage on them - when the front hub was rebuilt, it was also fitted with upgraded steel inner spacers so as to better prevent against the prospect of premature bearing failure often associated with over-tightening the QR on those model 202 micro flange front hubs having a standard pair of aluminum spacers - to quote Harlan Meyers, the high-low rear hub design offers "...the most efficient compromise between driving torque and side loads...(where)...the high flange converts driving torque with a minimum load on the pulling spokes...(and)...the low flange is lighter and more economical to make" - and besides that, they just look too cool - the quick release mechanisms (...or as Jerry Moos once put it more accurately and yet so succinctly - Harlan's "gradual release mechanisms") are perfectly matched to these hubs and are also in near perfect state from a cosmetic standpoint, but one must be particularly careful not to unwisely employ these on a regular basis as they have a historical tendency to come loose on forward facing dropouts (...vertical and rear facing track dropouts are generally not a problem, but watch out if you use them in conjunction with horizontal drops in the rear without physically modifying said dropout in accordance to Harlan's technical notes) - this was truly cutting edge equipment derived of good ol' Yankee ingenuity during the early to mid 1970's and would be perfectly suited for use on either a track sprint or short course time trial bike from that era]

..PLUS...

H-E Engineering - quick release hubset - small flange HDF (Heavy Duty Front) / small flange (rear) - annular sealed bearings - 36h (18R/18L) front hub (100 mm spacing) / 36h (18R/18L) rear hub (122 mm spacing) - 1.370" x 24 TPI English freewheel thread - models 201 (front) / 214 (rear) : Hi-E Engineering - quick release mechanisms - aluminum alloy end caps with knurled adjusters - stainless steel skewer rods with rolled threads - model 223 (front / rear combo) ... [A matched set of circa 1976 through approximately 1980 hubs having aluminum barrels with a protective anodized coating - while the model 201 front hub is new and unused, the model 214 rear hub may have been laced once (...quite frankly, I find it difficult to say with certainty one way or the other - so I am going to err on the safe side and not claim it as unused) - in any event, the non-drive side end cap was viciously pried off (...it bears scars in testament to the brutality used in this endeavor) and the axle itself removed from the rear hub - I am going to purposefully leave this unit disassembled so that its new owner can better choose whether or not they prefer to put things together "as is", or source new end caps associated with its existing 122 mm OLD spacing, or use a longer 25.9 mm drive side end cap to affect a 126 mm OLD spacing apropos a standard six speed freewheel, or have any competent machine shop craft a simple 1/8" wide spacer having appropriate OD and ID measurements and then use said spacer in conjunction with the existing or any replacement drive side end cap measuring a typical 22.9 mm (...just drop me a note if you have any questions) - the model 223 quick release mechanisms (...which are something akin to a one eared wing nut) are perfectly functional (...please see caveat described above) but do exhibit definitive signs of use as these were procured separate from the hubs themselves]

..PLUS...

Hi-E Engineering - lightweight rims (quantity three) - 213 grams - 2024T4 aluminum alloy sheet doubled on the inside and attached with hollow rivet eyelets - 20 mm section - box profile - smooth / non-machined braking surfaces - 700c tubular - drilled for Presta valves - 36h - model 240 .. [NOS - brand new, never laced, and double tough to find in this condition - no shop wear to speak of other than someone is going to have to clean off the residue from remnants of protective tape]

Purchase price for the entire aforementioned assemblage of new as well as used Hi-E componentry: $375.00 plus S&H at cost

HUBSET PARTS:

Campagnolo Record rear hub axle assembly (complete) - includes model 29/R rear hollow axle (129.35 mm total length), model 32/R rear cones (...quantity two), model 36 keyed lock washers (...quantity two), model 46 spacing collar (5.5 mm), and model 33 rear lock nuts (...quantity two, date code marked "CAM 77" for 1977) ... [A used but low mileage assemblage in truly excellent condition - depending upon your exact requirements which may or may not dictate use of additional and/or substitute readily available spacing collars to achieve an appropriate offset, this assembly is suitable for use with various Campagnolo rear hubs (...Record, Super Record, C Record, and early Athena or Chorus) to affect a 120 mm through 122 mm OLD (i.e. standard five speed or narrow six speed freewheel spacing)] - $10.00 plus S&H at cost

Campagnolo Record front and rear axles - matched pair includes model 19 front hollow axle (109 mm total length) and model 29/R rear hollow axle (134.25 mm total length) ... [Another couple of very low mileage used parts in superb state - suitable for use with various Campagnolo hubsets (...Record, Super Record, C Record, and early Athena or Chorus) to affect a standard 100 mm front and 124 mm through 127 mm rear OLD (i.e. standard six speed or narrow seven speed freewheel spacing) - can also be used for earlier 120 mm to 122 mm OLD (i.e. standard five speed or narrow six speed freewheel spacing) by cutting the model 29/R rear hollow axle to length] - $10.00 plus S&H at cost

TIRES:

Specialized Turbo / R - 27" x 1 1/8" (ISO 630-28) - black with gum sidewall - wire bead clincher design - slick style (...i.e. bald) tread design - recommended 100 psi with 115 psi maximum (...assuming a hooked bead rim profile) - model Turbo / R ... [Used - a long ago extinct set of high pressure tires that were quite popular in the 1980's - these look to be in good state both cosmetically as well as functionally with no signs of age cracking or nicks that would otherwise be a harbinger of their impending demise - were it not for the fact that I have one and only one bicycle using 27" tires (...and I intended to keep it that way) and in my situation "vintage appropriate" is not a consideration, I would have no hesitation in holding these back for my own personal use] - $20.00 for the pair plus S&H at cost

BRAKES:

SunTour Superbe / Superbe Pro - brake levers - traditional non-aero cable routing - die cast alloy bodies - SunTour anatomic gum hoods - factory "drilled" or "slotted" alloy levers with anodized finish - model CB-3200 .. [Nice used condition with minor evidence of "lean to" markings on the lever blades (...more so on one than the other, but in any event, neither appear to have been crashed) - original SunTour gum hoods are still nice and supple - these are decidedly not the first edition 1977 through 1979 model PL-1000 brake levers, but rather, the improved model CB-3200 levers which date from 1980 through 1986 - they are marked "SUPERBE" in horizontal fashion along the front side or their lever blades despite the fact that SunTour had already begun referring to their corresponding top-of-the-line component group as being "SUPERBE PRO" by the year 1980] - $25.00 for the pair plus S&H at cost

Huret - top tube brake cable clips - matched set of three - "open window" hoop style - chrome plated steel - model 1810 ... [NOS with minor evidence of oxidization on the attachment screws, but the chrome plating on the clamps themselves is in perfect state - apropos those French bikes having a metric sized tubeset with a correspondingly ever so slightly larger diameter top tube] - $12.00 USD plus S&H at cost

Dia-Compe - seat post binder bolt mounted rear brake cable hanger - chrome plated steel - integrated alloy cable adjuster - 26 mm wide / 45 mm pitch - model 1260/A ... [NOS - a difficult to find part in perfect condition] - $10.00 USD plus S&H at cost

SADDLE / SEAT POST:

SELLE ITALIA Turbo Matic 2 - molded nylon plastic shell - integrated shock dampening design - high density foam rubber padding - patterned Black leather cover - Black chromed spring steel rails - circa early 1990's .. [Used and in fairly good state - only very minor evidence of wear abrasion along the left side of the nose and toward the rear extremity (...enough to notice when running your open hand across the leather cover but not so much that it can easily be seen - treat the leather to a dose of Proofhide or equivalent and a good buffing, and these should disappear) - a successor to the earlier and wildly popular Turbo, the Turbo Matic series incorporated what Selle Italia referred to as their "full floating system" of saddle shock dampening design consisting of soft rubber pieces which are sandwiched between the shell and the rails so as to act as miniature shock absorbers which tend to mitigate irritating and stressful vibrations] - $15.00 USD plus S&H at cost

Campagnolo - seat post mounting barrel nuts and adjusting bolts - models 700 (nuts) / 703 (bolts) ... [NOS - suitable for use with early Campy two bolt seat posts] - $10.00 USD plus S&H at cost

MISCELLANEOUS BITS:

ALE small jersey flask / bonk bottle - circa 1980's ... [Used - great condition with very minor discoloration of the plastic along a small portion of the cap (...may or may not end up being removed by the likes of using some plastic polish] - $3.00 USD plus S&H at cost

Specialites TA - Criterium style water bottle cage clamp - chrome plated steel - early TA "chain ring" logo - does NOT include mounting nut and screw - TA ref 16 ... [Used - very good condition with all chrome plating intact - suitable for use on 1960's and 1970's vintage TA model 216 Criterium water bottle cage, although it can also be used with their standard model 215 and 417 chrome steel and aluminum cages respectively] - $2.50 USD plus S&H at cost
