I have some of those nice stems that had the little plastic plug that fit i n the stem bolt hole that keeps the rain out and looks good. One has a l ittle Allen screw that operates a mini-expander of its own to tighten down the plug, the others just pop in. They not only look good but serve a purpose in that they keep the st em from filling up with water. As a weight savings 3t seems to have gone to a short expander bolt where the user must use a longer Allen wrench to tighten the stem in the fork. BT
