A preprogrammed calculator is part of the package and without the calculator you really haven't got much. Programming is done (physically) by Wheelsmith and I have had to send mine back to them a couple of times to have it reprogrammed.
There are several other systems readily available to you on the web. Maybe someone on the list has a favorite they can recommend.
