Remember that the Sturmey washer for BB spacer is good for Eng., and maybe
sneak it over French threaded cups.
If it's Italian, we always had to put the spacer in a vice and with a large
half round file that fit the curve fairly nice, slowly go around the inner
edge and file some out all the way around so it goes over Italian size
thread.
Try to get it even as you can so it keeps it's integrity reasonably even and
is fairly equidistant on the BB housing and cup interface..
and doesn't squish out somewhere when you are tightening it up.
