Really!! that's a new one on me........my first recollection of noticing frames with 'more seat post showing' were the stunning looking yellow, with chrome fork crown, Clive Stuart team bikes equiped with 1st gen Nuovo Record.........does anyone remember them?

Being on the 'lanky' side I've always 'enjoyed' having a good ammount of seat post showing, and likewise usally use a 13cm stem, though on some of my 'period bikes' I will use a shorter stem to balance my positition when using 73 head & 71 seat angles along with a 23" top tube as was typical at the time.

Happy new year to you all
