Howdy, all-

I've just taken a position managing as new LBS here in Portland...we are kn own as JoeBikes, and we currently specialize in very off-topic cargo an d utility bikes BUT- over the coming weeks, I will be introducing what we l isters call "vintage content" to our inventory.

Initially, all the cool stuff will be from my collection (which is not a ba d start, actually!), but as we grow, stuff from other sources will be added .....the vintage part of our website is not up yet,  so I will I not post the link until it is done (lest ye burn your eyes looking at pics of 5 0lb bikes with full chainguards).

We will also offer a full range on-topic services- tubular repair & install ation, wheel building (including exotic patterns & tying/soldering), frame alignment, restorative services, etc.

Feel free to contact me off-list with any questions or suggestions.....

Portland VeloSwap is January 10th (all day!), @ Roots Brewing Co (SE 7th, n ear Hawthore St.); I have a large spot reserved (look for the JoeBike banne r) and will have several bikes (Ron Kitching, Schwinn 'Volare', Bridgestone RB-1, 1964 PX-10, etc), as well as the usual Campy & French bits. I.D. you rself as a CR person, and get a discount!

A fine New Year to all!
