I just swapped the good races from a bad shell into a good shell with bad races. A bit of bother but well worth it.

Shouldn't be a problem.

I'm collecting hub shells to use as coat hooks in my new Bike-Centric entryway. There'll be one row of high flange for jackets and above that a row of low flange for hats.

Unless you're a Campi purist, Wheels Mfg. spacers work fine.
