Subject: [CR] Holdsworth Professional on eBay

There is a very attractive Holdsworth Professional on eBay. Item number: 330300629485. Something about this bike seems wrong, however.

The Reynolds decal would seem to indicate 1977 or later, but the bike can't be later than '75, since it has all the chrome. The bike is missing its head badge (you can see a hole in the picture of the head tube), but has acquired a later decal.

There doesn't appear to be any lug lining, and even more significantly, any engraving on the chain stay caps. But it may just not show in the pictures.

Finally, the lugs don't look right to me (the points look too short) and the lettering of "Professional" looks wrong.

Of course, all this may mean nothing. Other opinions invited. Maybe someone can contact Norman Kilgariff to see what he thinks. I only bring this up because it is likely that this bike will bring big bucks.
