With not even a hint of disrespect for Ray and others, if one wants to replace the Cobalto "gems" a flat or slightly convex piece of plastic should be found-in the jewelery business stones prepared like this, without facets, are called "cabochons." The use of faceted "gems" is a dramatic substitute but not a replacement for the original. Although I have a feeling this entire matter is OT, I have always been curious to know what, other than problems with the Deltas, lead Campagnolo to this strange and exotic adornment for a good brake caliper?
