I remember them being $900 - ish "back in the day". We tried to match the p rice of a Paramount from the dealer across town, the difference being that the Pro included Campy brakes, and the Paramount came with Weinmans, Campy as an upgrade. Seller is fishing, but hey, it only takes one buyer with dee p pockets!

I've been watching the Raleigh Professional prices these days as I bought o ne as part of two bike deal and mine is going on the market soon. The typic al models all seem to sell for about the same few bucks, but the other day I saw this one on E-bay (Item No. 180323304429). Was there really a Pro mod el that sold for $5K back in the day? If so what about this specific bike w as different? Is this seller fishing or was there a much more expensive mod el?
Thanks,
