Best I ever found was STP, the racers' edge. Warm the freewheel in the Carolina sun and heat the STP on the stove and inject it. It never oozed. How was it we  had so much time back then? Dave Boston Tucson AZ  USA

While I prefer Billy Ketchum's story about assessment of sound at the factory being the difference between Regina Extra and Oro freewheel designa tion, it is useful for the CR readership to know (via Robert Broderick's 1978 Regina catalog) that the Oro, Record, and Titanio series freewheels have gr ound ball bearing races and special pawls that engage 42 positions every revolut ion. By omission, the Extra freewheel doesn't have those features. These feature s would result in a difference in sound I'm sure, so perhaps Billy's story is true!
