Subject: [CR] Have fun identifying another set of mystery British forks!

As part of an interaction with a very friendly EBay seller for a headset for the 1950 Raleigh Clubman I recently bought from Nelson Miller, I enquired - partly in jest - whether he had a suitable set of forks for the frame. He wrote back to say that he had Raleigh forks from a later date and not in 27", but that he did have a rather nice orphan British set from what he believed to be a 60s frameset. He also thought them to be Reynolds. He was happy to send them to me for the cost of postage. I eagerly took him up on the deal and received them this past week. To my delight, they are a rather nice set - with quite fancy lugwork and a rather interesting spur on the dropouts. I have posted pictures on Wooljersey and would love to know if anyone can identify the maker!

They have been stripped of paint and the lampbracket fitting has been removed. I will probably still use them for the Clubman - unless I can get the real thing.
