Hi Mark,

I've got 5 Merckx frames, - and this one does look like my Corsa Extras a ccording to the rear brake bridge shape.  I've never really figured out h ow the factory decided to put which fork on each frame - sloped-crown or fl at like the one in the auction. My SLX and TSX tubed frames have sloped-c rowns.  The SL tubed frames have flat.  But that may not be all there i s to it.  Check out Mark Bulgier's catalog scans like this one...

My 7-Eleven frame is TSX with a sloped-crown fork. Mark's scan of the 1990 catalog shows the 7-Eleven TSX with a flat-crown.  Go figure.

Good luck with it,
