Subject: [CR] Mondia Luxe Restoration

I can find a fair amount of information on the net with pictures of various Mondia's but none with respect to the Mondia Luxe. I have such a bike that I am restoring but unfortunately it was painted over with a different color when I was a unwitting teenager and I am having difficulty trying to get the paint scheme back. It had the fade paint scheme with an overall silvery blue metallic finish fading to white then black at the front chrome lugs and near the center bar chrome section. The head bar was white. There was white pinstripe at the edges of the lugs and where the blue was taped off at the chrome sections of the rear stays and forks. I bought the bike roughly in 1968 or 1969 when it was a year or two old. I can't find a serial number. On the head tube there is a Mondia Super badge which is screwed on with 2 small slotted screws. The brakes were Mafac center pulls. Most of the other parts are Campy. Fortunately I do have all the original parts although not are all on the bike now. Actually the bike has been totally disassembled. I have been able to get the basic paint scheme back with light sanding but am unsure about the decals or other details. I will attach a couple of pictures and any input, guidance, pictures of other bikes or directives to other places that would help would be appreciated. I am restoring for sentimental reasons, a project long delayed allowing the bike to fall to the ravages of time. Thanks in advance.
