Hi all, I was the original poster having trouble reaching H. Lloyds.? The CR resource page had the old addresses on it and a another list member gave me the correct contact info.? Once I had the correct email address Nick responded right away.? I guess I should have posted that, but I just asked Dale to change the info on the site which he took care of.? Looking forward to getting new RRA and?Lenton Sports decals and even ordered a set of Clubman decals for the frame I haven't bought yet!
My 49 Lenton is really rough, and the Clubman I'm working on gettng has been stripped and primered.? I'm considering having S&S couplers installed on one of them for a travel bike.? Any opinions on the appropriateness of chopping up a vintage club bike?? I kind of feel like the bikes are in such poor condition why not (The Lenton has big weld repair on the downtube).? But part of me thinks if I'm going to the expense of restoration I should stay true to original.
