Mike,

Outstanding in EVERY way. I can hardly wait to take delivery of my custo m made Rene Herse bicycle. That bike is definitely a work of art and a m asterpiece of engineering and assembly. I like a bike with a little more color, as mine will have; but I appreciate the subtle approach for secu rity reasons.

Looking forward to seeing you and the bikes in person at the San Diego C ustom Bicycle Show in April. We're going to have a great show, nice weat her, and lots of good people and good fun.

I wish all of the people at NAHBS the best and hope it's a great success for everyone.

Hi CR folks,

Something cool that you will not see at Indy.

With all the handbuilt bike fever this weekend, we thought we'd post pho tos of a recent Rene Herse 650b - special Edelux bracket, handmade rear tai lig ht with stadlight, stem cap mounted light switch - the cool Herse stuff. Â   You can see it by clicking on the following link - file sizes are la rge so give them a few moments to load.

This year we chose not to go to NAHBS as cost, location, and with our bu ild que it didn't seem to make sense.  Plus it looks like we're i n g ood company as some of North America's very best builders aren't at In dy this year either - Weigle, Baylis, Gordon, Peirera.

Now if you are reading this and you are going to Indy?  Check out t he

cool bikes then go north two hours to Auburn Indiana and visit the Aubur n C ord Duesenberg Museum. It is one of the coolest places on earth if you l ike cool old stuff.  Even if you dislike cars, the story is compelling , t he history lesson is amazing, the cars are extraordinary, and the buildi ng

itself (the factory 1930's deco showroom) is worth the trip itself.

I only wish it was in my size.  Very nice looking frame.
