Yes that is Pat, and I agree that is Northbrook (too many laps there to remember!). I fortunately had the pleasure of knowing?Pat during my father's many years with Schwinn Sales Midwest (I worked there summers too while racing at Northbrook) in the "60s. Pat had great stories about racing in Europe in the six-days. Also a very interesting story about racing the Tour of Mexico in the 50's I believe (He has/had newspapers chronicling he race - gave me a chance to work on my high school Spanish!).? Next time you communicate with him please say hi for me and my father Chuck. And I'm forwarding the race photo?link on to Ed Kinney (I'm sure you remember him) as he too will go down nostalgia lane with this.

The fellow on the Paramount on the ad is Pat Murphy, of Canada, now in the US for many years and worked for Schwinn at the time or Chicago Cycle, a Schwinn distributor in Chicago.?
I raced often against Pat, He was a great racer, and is in Canadian Hall of Fame.?
We still correspond occasionally.?
I think that foto was taken at the Northbrook, Ill. track.?
