Greetings, this is my first post and am pleased to be a part of the group. I am a collector of vintage lightweights primarily and share your passion for the old school craftsmanship characteristic of these bikes.
I acquired a frameset yesterday and would like to know if anyone has some information about it. It is a chrome-lugged Windsor that may be pre-Mexican manufactured. I say this because I have a couple of mid-70s era Windsors (Pro and Carerra) with the oval headbadge that most collectors are aware of. This one however, has a metallic circular headbadge and agrati drop outs. If I remember, some early 60s Holdsworths had these same drops, so I am assuming that this could be a British-made version. It has a 5-digit SN but that doesn't bring up anything online. Can you help?
