I found these "Used Campagnolo retro friction shift levers" on EBAY (#19029567860).
I had not seen any before this, or perhaps I did long ago and had forgotten all about them.
Questions for you all:
Did Simplex make these "Campagnolo retro friction shift levers" for Campi?
When were they made?
Do they work as well as or better than the Simplex retrofriction levers?
Any other interesting tidbits about these puppies for our edification?
