On March 14th, I gave advance notice that I would be hosting a CR ride leaving from my home on Saturday April 4th. Now that we are within the range of reasonably accurate weather forecasting, I believe it may be advisable to delay the ride by one day to Sunday April 5th. In fact, weather forecasts are predicting anywhere from a 20 to a 70% chance of rain and perhaps gusting wind on Saturday, whereas the weather forecast for Sunday seems much better with no or almost no chance of precipitation or wind. I will make a final decision based upon a consensus of the better of the two dates. I wouldn't even mind leaving the decision up until Saturday morning if this suits most of the riders.
It has also been suggested that I indicate a theme for the ride so as to help, those with multiple steeds, in their bike selection. I would therefore like to suggest that we have a De Rosa themed ride. Riders with non-De Rosa bikes will obviously be welcome to come too. I can also offer a number of bikes for loan for those who might find themselves to be in the Philadelphia area without a bike over the weekend, including a tandem, a triplet, a trike etc...
We will take off for an approximate 25-30 mile ride before retreating to my deck to discuss and view bikes.

Just a heads up to all that I am planning on hosting a CR ride leaving from my home in South Jersey on Saturday April 4th. For those who have not yet attended one of these rides, we generally get between 15 and 25 riders, take off for an approximate 25-30 mile ride and then retreat to my deck to discuss bikes and relax.

My home, in the Philadelphia suburbs, can be easily reached by from exit 40 of I-295, or exit 4 of the NJ turnpike. For those in NYC, you can even take your bike on NJ transit from Penn station.
