Subject: [CR] ATTN: BVVW Meeting Attendees!

Two quick notes to those of you who plan to attend the upcoming BVVW gather ing at my workshop this Thursday, April 2nd:

1) We will also have access to my boss' 1000 square foot sculpture studio ( down the hall, on the same floor as my shop), more than half of which i s completely empty, freshly painted and completely secure. This could co me in handy if (a) our group is too large for my small workspace and we wis h to spread out into the larger space and/or (b) you have a bike that you w ould like to bring to the meeting either to share with the gang or store in side. Got somethin' special? Now is your chance to bring it along for "sh ow and tell"!

2) Roberta's Pizza (the wood-fired pizza joint 2 blocks away) has told me t hat they will only be able to accommodate us if we make a reservation. Giv en that (a) our meeting attendance is typically down to the wire, (b) the y only make pricey, individual-sized pies and (c) they are notorious slow due to their small oven, I think we'd be better off sticking around my s hop and ordering pies from another local joint/take out restaurant. My con cern is that if we head there following the meeting around, say, 8-ish , Roberta's will labor over our pies in their tiny oven and some of us wo n't eat until 9:30 or 10:00. If my shop is a successful BVVW gathering pl ace, we can explore it some time in the future. Of course, those that wish to phone down and order a pie for pick up are more than welcome to do so. If not, there are a number of places in the neighborhood which can d eliver.

Feel free to B.Y.O.B. Also B.Y.O.C.C.F.T.C.W. (Bring Your Old Cycling Cap s For The Cap Wall!) See ya on Thursday!
