Subject: [CR] Texas Velo Roundup reminder

Pardners: Texas Velo Roundup is less than a week away! Saturday, April 11. Show with food provided at noon, gentle 20-ish mile rid e at 2:00PM More details at: http://www.velobase.com/TxRoundup.aspx

Please DO RSVP if you plan to attend so we can have enough (but not too muc h) food for all to enjoy whilst drooling over fun bikes. Host Randy Murphy has a show space which is looking AWESOME.

A special thanks to John McManus who made a GREAT suggestion regarding an a djustment to the ride route which results in less traffic and a simpler rou te.

I did a test ride today (on a 1984-ish Gitane Team Replica, to make things officially Vintage) and aside from the wind, it was a great ride, thanks to John's improved route. Half way I realized that I was on tubulars and had negelected to bring a sp are...

Randy will be staying at the show location to help with security, so if you want to bring more bikes than you can ride, things will be reasonably secu re.

At this point we have about 20 people attending and about twice that many b ikes, so it looks like it will be a great event!

Questions / concerns? Email me or call!

Cheers!
