Chas, et. all,

I don't think comcrap is supporting OE anymore. You should probably do a windows update on your PC. I noticed a few months ago after installing XP service pack 3 that the shortcuts and menu icons for Outlook Express disappeared! Don't worry - all your contacts, etc. are still in the correct directories. Try Mozilla Thunderbird instead:

It will import all Outlook Express settings and contacts. Once you get it set up correctly it works great, my wife is very happy with it.

Steve,

I'm also a Comcast subscriber and I've had a lot of problems with my emails using Outlook Express. From my contacts with Comcast Tech Support, I've gotten the distinct impression that Comcast is trying force their customers into using their lame "SmartZone" web based email.
