When I needed a 3.5mm allen wrench I went to my local guitar shop.  They had a jar full of various sizes, and let me pick the one I wanted for free.   Turns out 3.5mm is a common size for screwing pick-ups into guitar fret boards.  The most you'll pay from a guitar shop is a couple of dollars, if at all.
