Well I am a bit late in my thanks but that is only because I just finished the ride. You see the wind that day sort of slowed me down a bit. Ironically I had a good start, a wind suffering middle and a great ending. This was almost the most windy ride I have done. It also had the best after ride party with great company. Mara and Steve were the perfect hosts to tolerate the wind burnt, disheveled and ravenous group that showed up in the end. It was a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere that allowed us to recover from a very unusual, weather beaten ride.
Great to see you all again and I look forward to the next gathering, hopefully sans wind.
