True you can sometimes use a TA extractor on a Stronglight crank but... 23.35mm is .35mm or .0138" larger than 23mm which is about .007" per side.

The theoretical thread height of a 1mm thread is .0236" but in reality it's probably closer to .020" on aluminum cranks that have been removed a few times.

If the extractor threads are slightly undersize or the crank arm threads are slightly oversize .007 doesn't leave much room for error.
