Who was making frames for Palo Alto Bicycles in the late 80's?
I'm not an expert, but from what I've heard and researched some were made by Biemmezeta, Padova, Italy. You can tell if it's got "BMZ" stamped on the bottom of the bottom bracket.
I picked up a BMZ frameset at Trexlertown last spring and recently took it out for for the first time at Steve Maasland's NJ ride a few weeks ago. Extremely nice ride, especially in the windy weather we had.
CR member Billy Rounds told me he painted a number of these for Palo Alto, and gave me a set of decals.
