Now that someone brought up SunTour FW's, does anyoone have cogs for sale or know a source? I bought three bodies and I think 37 cogs a CR member offered here recent. These are New Winner, and seem to have been set up as Ultra-7, as they have double cog outside thread-ons with the smallest cog pretty small. I'm trying to configure these as Ultra-6 with 32 or 34T large cogs, but I need some larger single thread on outer cogs and probably some different cogs in the middle, including some 28T. If someone is trying to build a racing-type Ultra-7, maybe we can do some trades.
How many different cog types did New Winner have? Obviously the outer screws on, but were the other cogs made for specific positions? Do New Winner cogs interchange with other models or other brands?
One of my favorite FW's is the Sachs Aris, because except for the screwon outer, I think the other cogs can be used in any position. I believe that was also true of Zeus 2000 FW's.
