Subject: [CR] Filling a hole, 1948 Hill Special.

Hi gang, Need some advice. I purchased a 1948 Hill Special frame from a list connection last summer. Obviously a previous owner had added a water bottle themselves with a hand drill and sheet metal screws. To make matters worse, they must have goofed on the first attempt because there are 3 holes, the unused one was covered by tape when I received the frame. Ideally I would like to send the frame off to Cycle Art for a restoration, but that is out of reach financially at the moment. In the meantime, what, if anything should I do about the hole in the frame? Plug it or cover it with something? If so, what? Leave it exposed? I appreciate any and all comments. Picture can be seen here: http://s542.photobucket.com/albums/gg417/braxton23/Hill%20Special/

Thanks, John
