Just a guess ... maybe it's a BMX hub converted to a quick release axle? BMX hubs have freewheel threads too, albeit intended for just one cog. But then, I guess you would expect there to be an oiler port like a road hub, since the units would be subjected to dirt and crud, where a pista hub would not be and has no port. Don't know how the BMX hubs were marked ... with RECORD, or not.

Dear Listmembers,
I'm hopeful that one of you may have some information on a post 1977
(based on the skewers) Campy Record Hub which is anodized black and has no oil
port. The drilling is 24 holes and it has a 7 speed freewheel mounted. Both
the words Campagnolo and Record are stamped on the barrel. I have not seen
one like the before. Any information would be most helpful. I have posted a
