Can anyone report on treasures found today at UCDavis (voted #1 bike city) biannual bike auction? I haven't attended for almost two years due to relative lack of OT bikes. Years ago, one could occasionally score an english or french-built (if only for parts). It's advertised as 400+ abandoned bikes which takes my imagination from the Sacramento River to the banks of the Thames and Seine...only to be slapped-back to reality.
