The force is close to perpendicular, so I think it is not a big issue, tho I never rode with them on a bike... the tendency for the front end to move upwards, caused by friction and the fact that they hang down from their bolt (rotating around the bolt), might just be balanced by the tendency for the nose to move down caused by the curve of the rim... ? ?
