Subject: [CR] wood lined rim

Hi everyone,

I just bought a bunch of on-topic rims in a job-lot and I'm trying to find out what some of them are.

I have one that has a label from the on it that says "FREE BAIRN WOOD LINED" and the remnants of a label on the rim that could easily say FREE BAIRN. The rim is certainly wood-lined.

It hasn't got eylets but on the tyre side the aluminium is peened-in to created a concave section for the nipple to sit in.

Does anyone know anything about what I have? Google didn't yield anything.

Thanks Tristram Oliver-Skuse Mebourne, Australia.
