I just posted photos of my new (to me) Jim Redcay touring bike. http://www.flickr.com/photos/34409296@N02/sets/72157618395691400/

The bike came to me by way of my friends shop who picked it up at a swap. It will need some cleaning up (hopefully someday a new paint job) but overall a really great bike. At some point the bike must have been repainted because there is a "paint by Andreas Cueavas" decal at the bottom of the down tube. The odd thing is the decals on the bike, The head tube just has a "JR" and the downtube a "Jim Redkay" decal. I know he would put a red "K" on his headtube as a joke, but did he actually go so far as to spell his name wrong? I'm guessing at the time Cueavas or the bikes owner did not have the correct decals and made due with something a bit more home made.  I do beleive that this is Jim Redcay bike. The seatcluster looks like the others that I have seen (and I have only seen a few on the internet) the circular cutouts on the lugs, the cable guides offset to the left, and a "K" stamped into the bottom bracket. I think that makes for a pretty convincing case. But if anybody has a different idea I would love to hear it. Did anyone on this list ever own this bike? I would love to know as much about it as possible. Thanks, Isaac SchellPhiladelphia PA
