I jumped too quickly into reporting this to you folks on the basis of a post to the IBOB list. I should have looked into the matter further. I guess my joy for Peter, as I perceived it sort of overwhelmed me. Peter has confirmed to me that it is, indeed a prank, probably from a disgruntled business contact. I think Peter's contribution to cycling may indeed be worthy of a reward of some sort, however. I'd like to offer to buy him some Bar-B-Que in Leesburg in hopes that I have not made his live more complex by my earlier post. Major award or not, he is a first class guy in my own humble book.

By the way, the winner of the prize for 2009 is really Kenneth J. Bialkin.

Again, my apologies if my gullibility and eagerness to believe well of Peter has troubled any of you.
