Not only when your changing a flat but also back in the day when you used the same wheels every day for training, each morning you would inflate your tires to the proper inflation and after each ride let a little air out to relieve a little pressure on the tire. Valve cap on valve cap off. Not Happening, and don't forget all that extra weight throwing your perfectly trued wheels out of whack...
