A slide show of close-up photos of my (presumably) pre-1984 (and therefore "classic") Ciocc San Cristobal may be viewed at this link:  http://s33.photobucket.com/albums/d98/freetrader2300/?action=view&currentÞace15f.pbw

Never crashed, but lots of little scratches (durability of paint job left something to be desired IMHO).

(Sincere apologies to those purists who find wireless cyclocomputers, clipless pedals and aero-style brake levers offensive - this is currently my only bike and I happen to like certain modern conveniences.)

I'm attempting to determine in what year my Ciocc "Mod San Cristobal" frame was built.  I purchased the frame "off-the-rack" at Shreve Island Cyclery (now closed) in Shreveport, LA in April 1986, but I recall seeing the frame in the shop since I first moved to Shreveport in April, 1984.  I remember a comment being made about the shop having the frame "for awhile", but nothing specific.  There are various photos of my Ciocc on my website but the best one is probably here:

Sorry, it isn't a super close-up.  There are a few other details I can provide that might help date my Ciocc:

Brazed-on shifter bosses and down tube water-bottle cage bosses NO water bottle cage bosses on seat tube Shift cables run under the bottom bracket Three brazed-on cable guides for rear brake cable NO brazed-on derailleur mount Cloverleaf cut-out on bottom bracket underside Chrome on chain stay and rear drop-outs, but NO chrome on lugs or seat stays All-chrome front fork with sloping crown engraved with clover-leaf logo and "Ciocc" Ciocc clover-leaf badge is NOT used on head tube; instead "Ciocc" is spelled-out with vertical letters as on the seat tube If this still isn't enough then I'll post some close-up photos.  Best guesses welcomed!
