The bike is original as rec'd although the tires may have been replaced. I won't be able to check the hubs until tomorrow. I asked my friend how he came to own this bike and he told me that a collector had died and his sisters ended up with the bikes. They of course had no use for them. They showed up at my friends shop with the Frejus bike as well as (2) 1938 Paramount track bikes (wooden rims and all ) and a 1961 Paramount Track bike in perfect condition. He of course bought all of them. Right time, right place!---------- Original Message ---------- From: John Cerasulo <cerasulo@yahoo.com> To: "walljet01@netzero.com" <walljet01@netzero.com> Subject: Re: [CR] Frejus Track Bike Date: Wed, 10 Jun 2009 14:42:17 -0700 (PDT)

Hello, beautiful Frejus. If you're trying to date JUST the frame, I would guess the frame to be early to mid 70's but I'm sure someone will respond with more accurate information. Was the bike purchased complete or did your friend build it? I do see a mix of non era specific components. Do the Campagnolo hubs say "Record" or just "Campagnolo" on them? Special, special bike!
Best,
John

I have just posted some shots of a mint condition Frejus track bike on my wooljersey site. The bike belongs to a friend of mine and he would like to know the approx year of this bike. It can be seen at http://www.wooljersey.com/gallery/Jerry/Frejus/ Thanks for the help.
