I'm a bit slow, but this is kind of typical.

I could fill a small book with my recollections of this year's Cirque, but lacking Mr. Osborn's talent for avoiding boring the reader, I'll keep it short.

First of all, it was wonderful to see everyone who was there. The list of people who weren't there was longer than I wish it had been. Some friends, and others who might not know me from Adam. I missed all of you, and wish you could all have been there. It was a great time. Hope to see everyone next year.

Thanks especially to Wayne & MJ, who really worked their tails off to make sure every detail was attended to. It all came together remarkably well. Certainly, there were a couple things that could have gone smoother, but that's always going to be the case. I enjoyed myself tremendously, and I had the impression that most everyone else felt the same. Hopefully you'll both be able to enjoy things a bit more next year too.

The rides were fun. The presentations were all first rate. The food was excellent. Even the weather was quite nice (at least Saturday and Sunday).

I was enjoying things so much, I didn't think to break my camera out until Saturday evening. My photos are far from coffee table book quality, but hopefully they'll provide a flavor of the later portions of the proceedings. I think I captured all the bicycles that were on display Sunday, except for one or two that either came in late, or (in one case) produced a completely unusable photo. As chance would have it, I did get a shot of the bright yellow porteur with the orange rack on Saturday, so the ruined shot on Sunday wasn't quite so bad.

Enough babbling from me. Here's the link to my album:

Cheers - and see everyone next year for lucky 13!!
