RALEIGH RECORD ACE 22.5in c1953 Absolutely Gorgeous Offered for sale is a lovely 22.5in ctt c1953 Raleigh Record Ace (RRA) road bicycle in excellent condition. Top tube length is 22.5in ctc and rear dropout width is 110mm. It is built from Reynolds 531 double-butted tubing. This bicycle has been very carefully restored with the correct replica decals and the paint is virtually unmarked. The equipment is all period correct - Reynolds girder aluminium stem with GB Capo Berta bars (a similar shape to South of France bars), GB Hiduminium brakes complete with correct levers, Sturmey Archer FW hub with wingnuts, Raleigh RRA chainset with Raleigh steel pedals, Brooks B17 saddle and Reynolds aluminium seatpost, Bluemels mudguards with spearpoint extension, small flange front Harden hub and Constrictor Boa aluminium rims. The front wingnuts are the correct RRA ones as are the mudguard fixing wingnuts. This is a most gorgeous bike and exceptionally rare in this condition. To restore one to a similar standard would cost far in excess of the asking price on this bike. 595 GBP
