Hi listmembers,
I have a few bikes that I paid good money for but which are getting on my nerves: I don't like them, they are mistakes. First there is a Gitane "randonneur" sized 54 or thereabouts, a bit of a heavy beast but nevertheless ontopic and with a nice rack. Another is a Hirondele full 531 (1973 aprox) in very nice condition, sized about 50/51 equipped with Huret Luxe. (I'll maybe keep back the simplex stem and the saddle from this one).
Can't be bothered to part them out (plus I hate parting bikes) even though this would likely fetch me my money back and a bit on top, so they are up for grabs. The bug is I'm not shipping them, it's way too much hassle.

So it runs like this: if you want them, first come first served on my judgement of capacity to actually pick up the bikes which is at my entire discretion, so you have to arrange for pickup either by sending a shipper to Agen (area) France, or have a pal over here who will travel to my place and stick them in his car within a very reasonable timeframe. Latter option probably easier.
In case this isn't clear, I'm giving these bikes away. Nice gear, nothing wrong, just that you can't keep everything, and some buys you make a mistake. Bikes you don't fall in love with at first sight, and which don't seem to "fit".
