And to think . . . this was a product of "intelligent design"!
So it used a dual (push-pull) cable system? Very interrrrrresting . . .

This is way kool. So is it compatible with that other great Simplex mystery the Demutiplicator? This is even better than the Suntour RD with the three jockey wheels. Campy (and Shimano) are so damn boring and predictable. Vive la France.

\r?\n> The Selematic appears to be the work
\r?\n> of a truly deranged mind. Here's
\r?\n> a page on it with a link to a patent application with
\r?\n> exploded
\r?\n> drawings:
\r?\n>
\r?\n> http://www.disraeligears.co.uk/
\r?\n>
\r?\n> It is neither electric nor automatic, being purely
\r?\n> mechanical,
\r?\n> controlled from a wishbone thumb shifter mounted on the
\r?\n> handlebar via
\r?\n> what looks like a push/pull arrangement communicated
\r?\n> through a wire
\r?\n> and appears to embody the worst possible way to attempt an
\r?\n> indexing
\r?\n> drivetrain. More photos here:
